Job summary

IsoTalent is seeking a Commercial and Residential HVAC Sales Estimator to join the in-office mechanical contracting team in Beltsville, MD. The role focuses on turning field walks into accurate quotes and coordinating with technicians and customers to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of sales and hands-on HVAC knowledge across residential and light commercial systems, with valid driver's license and onsite availability Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Operational knowledge of split systems, ductless systems, water source systems, commercial ventilation, chilled/hot water systems, and boiler systems.
• 2+ years of hands-on technical knowledge across residential and light commercial systems.
• Experience managing projects or teams in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC job cost estimates, quotes, and professional written proposals for repairs, maintenance, and equipment replacement.
• Review the daily work schedule and coordinate any concerns with the CSR team.
• Ensure HVAC technicians are assigned work that matches their skill sets.
• Order and procure parts and replacement equipment, and confirm timely delivery.
• Confirm lifts, hoisting, or other special equipment are delivered to the jobsite.
• Obtain permits and schedule inspections.
• Conduct jobsite visits for quality control and project completion.
• Review completed service orders for accuracy, parts needs, and follow-up.
• Assist project managers with site inspections, scheduling, and quotes.
• Respond to requests from dispatch, department managers, project managers, technicians, and customers.
• Maintain daily communication with the field service team to keep work on schedule.
