Job summary

Skyline Mechanical in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Commercial HVAC Retrofit & Changeout Specialist. You will lead hands-on installation and retrofit projects, replacing RTUs, installing WSHP systems, and coordinating cooling tower swaps.

You will layout grooved iron piping, support systems, and perform plumbing, welding, and refrigeration tasks. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documenting work digitally, and delivering quality installs on schedule; a clean driving record and teamwork are

Qualifications

3+ years as an HVAC installer/technician with strong mechanical diagnostics.
Comfort working alongside property maintenance and construction teams.
Detail-driven problem solver with clear, professional communication.
Hands-on skill in plumbing, welding, and refrigeration techniques (a plus).
Experience in central plants and chilled water systems (a plus).
Clean AZ driver’s license and a drug-free work style.

Responsibilities

Install and replace commercial HVAC systems including RTUs and WSHPs.
Layout and install grooved iron piping with supports.
Perform repairs across residential and commercial projects as needed.
Welding, brazing, and refrigeration piping work as required.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues, document work digitally, and close tasks on time.
