We are hiring HVAC Retail Mechanics Assistants to install systems for our Replacement Departments. We offer year-round work, ongoing/on-site training, and career advancement opportunities. You'll also be eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days, as well as holiday and vacation pay after 1 year of service. Summary/Objective

The Retail Assistant receives work orders from their retail mechanic indicating the nature of the work to be done. They are expected to complete all work, have their own tools, and follow repair procedures as needed. Limited supervision is provided. The Retail Assistant is expected to act as an ambassador for the CCA brand.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Assist with installation of HVAC systems and ducting, including new installations and replacements of existing systems.
  2. Work alongside the construction crew on all installations, adhering to construction schedules.
  3. Ensure timely, quality, and correct installation.
  4. Assist with setting ventilation, air conditioning, and environmental control equipment into place.
  5. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  6. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with customers and colleagues.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  8. Able to work overtime.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of overall HVAC professional experience, but training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of materials, operation, and maintenance of specialty equipment used for installation.
  • Ability to work on construction sites and in office environments.
