Job Title: HVAC Retail Mechanics Assistant

Summary/Objective

The Retail Assistant receives work orders from retail mechanics, indicating the nature of the work to be done. They are expected to complete all assigned work, have their own tools, and follow repair procedures as needed. Limited supervision is provided. The Retail Assistant also acts as an ambassador for the CCA brand.

Essential Job Functions

1. Assist with the installation of HVAC systems and ducting, including new installations and replacements of existing systems.
2. Work alongside construction crews on all installations, adhering to scheduled timelines.
3. Ensure timely, quality, and correct installation of systems.
4. Assist with positioning ventilation, air conditioning, and environmental control equipment.
5. Communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
6. Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with customers and colleagues.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
8. Ability to work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of HVAC professional experience preferred; training available for qualified candidates.
• Good knowledge of materials, operation, and maintenance of specialized equipment used in installations.
• Ability to work on construction sites and in office settings.
