Job summary

Happyhiller in Cookeville, TN is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to perform thorough inspections and code-compliant repairs. You will manage parts orders and assist the team with daily service preparations, while communicating clearly with customers about questions and concerns.

The role includes mentoring apprentices and maintaining a courteous demeanor with clients and colleagues at all times, within a safety- and quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required (EPA 608 or equivalent).
• GED or High School diploma required.
• NATE certification preferred.
• HVAC certification or diploma preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection.
• Perform all HVAC repairs and replacements to applicable codes.
• Facilitate order for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service.
• Submit purchase orders to dispatch or other designated purchasing team administrators.
• Effectively communicate with the customer regarding questions, concerns and problems.
• Train, coach and mentor apprentices.
• Maintain a courteous demeanor with customers and associates at all times.
