Job summary

A+ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration in Gainesville, FL is hiring a full-time HVAC Repair and Maintenance Tech to diagnose and service residential and commercial systems. Expect day shift 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with on-call rotations during peak seasons.

You’ll work with a family-owned team that values reliability and growth. Compensation ranges from $30.00 to $35.00 per hour plus end-of-year truck bonuses and a $1,000 signing bonus after 90 days, along with comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HVAC experience.
• 4+ years of experience managing a work truck.
• HVAC certification or relevant trade school education.
• Valid and clean state driver\'s license.
• Ability to regularly lift and move 50+ pounds.
• Service Titan experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, service, and maintain heating and air conditioning equipment for residential and commercial clients.
• Inspect systems, diagnose problems, and perform the correct solutions to get equipment in peak condition.

When you join us in Gainesville, FL, you earn $30.00 - $35.00/hour and can receive end-of-year truck bonuses. After your first 90 days, you'll also receive a $1,000 signing bonus!

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of HVAC experience
• 4 + years of experience managing a work truck
• HVAC certification or relevant trade school education
• Valid and clean state driver's license
• Ability to regularly lift and move 50+ pounds
• Service Titan experience

DAY-TO-DAY AS AN HVAC REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE TECH

You normally work from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm (or until the scheduled jobs are done), Monday through Friday. We have an on‑call emergency service rotation and may require additional hours during the peak summer season.

You're responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, servicing, and maintaining heating and air conditioning equipment for residential and commercial clients. Every job is a little different as you inspect systems, diagnose problems, and perform the correct solutions to get the equipment in peak condition.
