Job summary

Fry’s Food Stores in Arizona is seeking an HVAC/refrigeration technician to provide maintenance, repair and support for assigned service calls while upholding our core values of respect, honesty, integrity and safety.

You will drive to stores daily, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, replace compressors or large motors, maintain parts inventory, document repairs, and coordinate with store personnel to prevent repeat calls and downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics.
• EPA Type 2 Certification required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive independently to stores as assigned and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues and repair HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Replace compressors, large motors and components as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts and document repairs in a timely manner.
• Comply with all policies and procedures and work with store personnel to minimize downtime.
