Overview

HVAC Refrigeration Technician – Ocala, FL at Circle K. Join to apply for the HVAC Refrigeration Technician-Ocala FL role at Circle K.

Responsibilities

• Maintains working climate by installing, repairing, and servicing refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Restores and repairs faulty or inoperative refrigeration and HVAC systems and associated equipment.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems inside and outside of equipment. Replaces parts of refrigeration or HVAC systems and inspects refrigeration and HVAC systems and equipment.
• Welds and solders copper and steel tubing.
• Complies with local, state, and federal codes and standards.
• Maintains refrigeration and HVAC maintenance by ensuring that required parts and equipment are available.
• Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on all HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including filter changes and regular cleaning.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and safety training classes; reviewing professional publications.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintains fuel equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and maintaining gasoline dispensers and related equipment; provides preventive maintenance and testing of the fuel system(s); maintains gas dispensers by changing nozzles, hoses, splashguards, filters, electronic circuit boards, and displays.
• Keeps equipment, systems, and buildings ready for use by repairing equipment, doors, plumbing, floor tiles, painting, food service equipment, and other items inside and outside of the stores.
• Maintains Point of Sale equipment, Frame Relay equipment, and safes by troubleshooting, repairing, and reprogramming equipment.
• Partners with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance of fueling equipment.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with Circle K and OSHA procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Collaborates with Circle K Supervisors to facilitate repairs and utilize sourced vendors when needed.
• Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors for materials and parts.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Participates in training classes for existing and new equipment.
• Ensures a safe working environment exists for employees and customers.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of welding and soldering copper and steel tubing.
• Ability to read and follow local, state, and federal codes and standards.
