Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital seeks an experienced HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic in Memphis to maintain, troubleshoot and repair air handling systems, chillers and related equipment across clinical and research spaces.

You will work on-site using standard hand and power tools, following sketches and specifications to restore equipment to operation and ensure environmental control rooms meet strict standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, modify, troubleshoot, repair, adjust and operate HVAC systems including air handling units, package units, fan coils, heat pumps, chillers, exhaust fans, heat exchangers and related pumps and cooling towers.
• Maintain and service clinical, laboratory, research and food storage refrigerators and freezers, ice machines, and environmental control rooms.
• Repair and fabricate components using hand and power tools following sketches, diagrams or manufacturer specifications to restore equipment to operation.
