Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and systems in a facility.

You will work on chilled water, high-pressure steam, hot water, medical gas systems, glassware washers, and kitchen equipment, and may lead and train Maintenance Helpers. A high school diploma or GED is required, with apprenticeship preferred and 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; apprenticeship preferred.
• 2+ years of experience maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of delivering high quality FM services.
• Maintain facilities related equipment and tools.
• Respond to technical queries to provide customer service and satisfaction.
• Complete work orders in CMMS and ensure accurate data entry.
• Promote safety and maintain clean, hazard-free work areas.
