Job Summary
The HVAC and Refrigeration Technician primarily focuses on performing daily maintenance of refrigeration and HVAC equipment. This role is responsible for maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning/refrigeration systems, diagnosing issues, and repairing to meet operational and safety standards.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure efficient operation and longevity (filter, belts, grease).
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. Carry out repairs or replacements as needed.
- Perform inspections of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and provide training.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and installations. Keep detailed logs to track system performance on CMMS system.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide effective solutions to restore system functionality, including overnight and weekend shifts as needed.
- Manage and maintain tools, equipment, and HVAC/R spare parts inventory.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and controls.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Effective communication skills.
Qualifications
- EPA608 Technician Certificate, Valid License, and Field Experience.
- Previous HVAC/Refrigeration maintenance experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment within the Engineering team and throughout the club.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Stand, bend, kneel, and climb as needed.
- Use hand and power tools with precision.
- Navigate confined spaces and crawl through ductwork. Move around efficiently.
- Work in various weather conditions.
- Maintain balance on ladders or elevated platforms.
