Job Description

We seek a skilled Commercial HVAC - Refrigeration Technician to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot our commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team, with a strong emphasis on safety and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs
• Replace defective parts and calibrate systems
• Read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Ensure safety compliance and proper disposal of hazardous materials
• Keep detailed work records and communicate effectively
• Assist with mechanical, electrical, and painting duties as needed
• Train junior staff and collaborate across departments
• Answer radio calls and complete guest and non-guest service requests promptly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in refrigeration or HVAC technology, EPA certification
• Minimum 10 years' experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration
• Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, blueprints, safety standards
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various environments, and perform emergency repairs
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and record-keeping skills
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Previous hotel experience is a plus
