Job summary

Fry’s Food Stores in Arizona is seeking an HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to maintain, repair and support store equipment across assigned locations. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and replace compressors and large motors.

Daily driving to stores is required, with emphasis on safety, documentation and adherence to company policies. A valid driver’s license and flexible scheduling (nights, weekends, overtime) are necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings, manuals and schematics.
• Minimum 3+ years' refrigeration/HVAC experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive independently to stores on a daily basis as assigned.
• Assist with and perform various preventive maintenance tasks and procedures to buildings and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and repair equipment.
• Perform compressor, large motor and component replacement.
• Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts.
• Operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks and aerial lifts safely.
• Complete repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation in a timely fashion.
• Comply with all department and company policies and procedures.
• Assist other skilled trade technicians in repairs as requested.
