Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Facility Engineering/Refrigeration HVAC Technician 2 in Tolleson, AZ. You will maintain and repair refrigeration systems and HVAC across assigned stores, driving daily to locations and documenting work in the system.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, 3+ years of HVAC experience, EPA Type 2, and a valid driver’s license; willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years' proven refrigeration/HVAC experience and satisfactory overall performance.
• EPA Type 2 Certification.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Drive independently to stores on a daily basis as assigned.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks for buildings and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and repair equipment.
• Perform compressor, large motor and component replacement.
• Maintain an organized inventory of parts.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely.
• Complete repair, labor and parts documentation promptly.
