Pay Rate: $22.00-27.00*

The Service Technician I provides maintenance, service, and repair for commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration, and/or HVAC.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Properly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration, or HVAC.
• Communicate repair status updates with customer and branch office.
• Order parts and communicate with branch.
• Complete service calls accurately and promptly.
• Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are available.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to standards and safety protocols.
• Meet on-call requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of applicable experience in commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration, or HVAC.

Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:

• Ability to work independently.
• Strong diagnostic skills; electrical, mechanical, and installation knowledge a plus.
• Journeyman License or CFESA certification preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good driving record.

Working / Environmental Conditions:

• Lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly; up to 100 pounds frequently; more with assistance.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and ladder use.
• Extensive daily travel.
• Exposure to hot grease and high-temperature environments.
• On-call weekend rotation (varies by branch).
