Job summary

Tri-State Mechanical Services is looking for an experienced HVAC technician to join our family-owned company in St. Louis. We have been providing top-notch air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration services for over 35 years.

Applicants should have substantial hands-on experience, ideally with a Mechanical Journeyman license. The compensation ranges from $25.00 to $50.00 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

Company Description

Family owned Tri‑State Mechanical Services, Inc. has been providing air conditioning and heating, and refrigeration service and installation to St. Louis and surrounding areas for over 35 years.

Candidate must possess experience on some or all commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment with a minimum of 5 to 10 or more years of hands‑on experience on equipment ranging from 5 ton to 100 ton rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, unit heaters, infrared heaters, make‑up air systems, walk‑in coolers, freezers, warehouse coolers, cold‑storage freezers, ice machines, commercial ventilation systems, and kitchen hood systems. Installation experience is always a plus.

Must have a clean driving record, be drug‑free, be available on call approximately once every 4‑5 weeks, and be dependable.

Mechanical Journeyman license preferred but not required. We will help with registration if needed and will train the right candidates. We provide training and school, covering most classes and pay for the entire duration you are there. Some factory training may be required on specific equipment and will be paid for by Tristate.
