Job summary

Amatrol is seeking an HVAC/assembly technician in Indiana to assemble HVAC and refrigeration systems, subassemblies, and components. You will solder copper tubing, read blueprints and specifications to meet standards, troubleshoot defects, and calibrate production equipment.

Documentation of build procedures is required for traceability. Essentials include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read technical specs in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and specs.
• Soldering experience is a plus; EPA 608 certification is desirable.
• Self-motivated, reliable on the floor and ready at 6:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Assembles HVAC and refrigeration systems, subassemblies and components.
• Solders copper tubing and reads blueprints/specs to build to standard.
• Troubleshoots defects in components and equipment; calibrates and maintains test/production gear.
• Documents build procedures to ensure traceability.

Job description

Signing Bonus: $1,000 total — paid in $250 installments at your 3-month, 6-month, 9-month, and 1-year anniversaries.

Schedule: Day shift only, no weekends required.

• Mon–Thu: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Fri: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Optional OT Saturdays, 6–10 AM

What You'll Do

• Calibrate and maintain test/production equipment

What You Need

• Self-motivated, works well independently
• Reliable — on the floor and ready at 6:00 AM
• Copper soldering experience a plus
• EPA 608 Certification a plus
