Job summary

Zobility is seeking an HVAC Refrigerant Loop Release Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI to develop and validate HVAC components and lead cross-functional design efforts. You will manage supplier collaboration, define specifications, and support test cells and simulations for performance verification.

The role requires hands-on CFD/FEA analysis, DVP&R maintenance, and strong communication skills to drive issue resolution and timely program deliverables.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in electric/mechanical compressor development or electronic valves.
• Basic knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and HVAC systems.
• Basic electrical knowledge; able to read circuit diagrams, pinouts and traces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate HVAC components (compressor, lines, valves, sensors).
• Coordinate design with powertrain, BIW, Aero/Thermal and suppliers.
• Maintain DVP&R, issue tracking, bench testing and data analysis.
