Job summary

Gustave A. Larson is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Elk Grove Village, IL to lead the warehouse team, oversee receiving, storage and distribution, and ensure safe, efficient operations in line with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience of a team is required.
• Must have experience driving lift equipment.
• HVAC/R Industry experience and/or knowledge helpful, but not required.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to meet mobility requirements and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with policies and vision.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
• Includes supply ordering and equipment maintenance.
• Plan layout and maximize space utilization.
• Recruit, coach, and motivate employees; performance feedback and reviews.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
