Job summary

Nextech, a leading HVAC/R service provider, is hiring an HVAC/R Technician in the United States. You’ll diagnose, repair, install, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems, with on-call rotations and after-hours work as needed.

You’ll use iPads to document service, manage parts, and communicate with dispatch. Expect sign-on bonuses, seasonal bonuses, and extensive benefits as part of your role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician.
• EPA certification and a valid driver’s license.
• Journeyman’s license may be required in some states.
• May require state specific licenses.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans.
• Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components
• Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations
• Accurately document all service details using company-provided iPads
• Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards
• Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery
• Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers
