Job summary

Nextech, the leading HVAC/R service provider in the United States, is hiring an HVAC/R Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance for commercial clients.

You’ll use iPads, manage tools, drive a company vehicle, and participate in on-call rotations, with a sign-on bonus up to $3,000 and seasonal bonuses. The role offers extensive benefits, training, and growth opportunities, with paid time off and health/dental plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician.
• EPA certification and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
• Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations.
• Accurately document all service details using company-provided iPads.
• Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery.
• Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers.
