Job summary

Nextech is seeking an HVAC/R Technician in California to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems. You’ll perform inspections, on-site repairs, and preventive maintenance while documenting work via iPads and coordinating with dispatch for timely service.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of field experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. A company vehicle, bonuses, and generous benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as HVAC/R field technician.
• EPA certification and a valid driver’s license required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans.

• Willingness to work overtime, weekends or holidays.
• Commitment to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
• Perform maintenance and emergency service, including after-hours on-call.
• Document all service details using company iPads.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to high standards.
• Communicate with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling.
