Job summary

A3 Staffing is seeking an HVAC/R technician to perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and service on a variety of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems in Buffalo, NY. The role includes diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and installing equipment as needed on customer sites.

You will collaborate with other technicians to solve complex problems, maintain accurate service records, and respond to urgent requests, with safety and compliance as a priority.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R field service experience preferred.
• Technical training in system diagnostics and repair.
• EPA certification and safety awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues in heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty components and restore systems to proper operation.
• Install new HVAC/R systems and equipment as needed.
• Work with fellow technicians to tackle complex technical problems.
• Keep thorough, accurate records of all service, maintenance, and repair work.
• Respond promptly to urgent and after-hours service requests.
• Follow industry regulations, safety guidelines, and company procedures at all times.
• Stay engaged year-round with a steady flow of diverse projects across different industries and system types, providing ongoing opportunities to learn and expand your skills.
