Job summary

7‑Eleven in New Jersey is hiring an HVAC Technician I to join our team and help keep our stores running smoothly. You will respond to service requests for HVAC, refrigeration, and in‑store equipment, perform minor repairs, and train junior technicians.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $3,000, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) plan, PTO, tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance, and opportunities to advance. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $32.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 1+ years in HVAC or refrigeration repair and maintenance.
• Certifications: EPA 608 (Type I and II or Universal) Certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Skills: Strong problem‑solving, leadership potential, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests for HVAC, refrigeration, and other in‑store equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide range of systems.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems using the latest tools and technology.
• Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior technicians while collaborating with a supportive team.
