Qualifications

• HVAC&R apprenticeship program duration and corresponding experience requirements.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial or large commercial HVAC&R systems.
• Experience with building management systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, calibrate, adjust, inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC&R systems and components.
• Test water treatment in closed loops and cooling towers to maintain proper chemical levels.
• Troubleshoot and repair BAS interfaced sensors, relays, and controls.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local hazardous materials regulations and maintain records.
• Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydronic, and mechanical testing; diagnose and repair parts as needed.
• Provide work direction and assist other trades as assigned.
