Qualifications

Completion of recognized HVAC&R apprenticeship program of at least two years' duration and four years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial or large commercial HVACR systems.
OR completion of a recognized HVAC&R apprenticeship program of at least three years' duration and three years of experience...
OR completion of a recognized HVAC&R apprenticeship program of at least four years' duration and two years of experience...
OR graduation from high school or equivalent with seven years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting HVACR systems.

Responsibilities

Service, maintain, calibrate, adjust, inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC&R systems including boilers, cooling towers, water chillers, pumps, freezers, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and maintain components connected to a building automation system (BAS).
Monitor and adjust fluids/gases in HVAC&R systems; test refrigerants and purge/replace as needed.
Ensure compliance with federal/state/local laws in handling hazardous materials and materials records.
Assist with skilled maintenance and construction of campus facilities and equipment; provide work direction as assigned.
