Job summary

Easy Ice is seeking a motivated Technician II in St. Louis, MO. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial ice machines, delivering high-quality service on-site. You’ll build strong customer relationships while ensuring equipment reliability and efficiency.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, performing installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance, while training others and documenting activity to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; Vocational/Technical Training preferred.
• 1+ year experience diagnosing and repairing commercial equipment (ice machines, refrigeration, electrical, HVAC).
• EPA 2 Certification is required.
• Working knowledge of mobile tools and applications.
• Ability to use voltmeters and demonstrate electrical troubleshooting.
• Full-time schedule including rotating on-call shifts.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Proactive problem solving and maintenance planning skills.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize service calls.
• Maintain organized records and service documentation.
• Proven track record of delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, cleaning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ice machine equipment.
• Manage on-site tasks and customer interactions to ensure quality service.
• Lead and mentor less experienced technicians as needed.
• Maintain truck stock, equipment and vehicle cleanliness; ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Accurately document service actions with photos and reports.
