Job summary

United States Space Force is seeking an operator in charge of a shift to operate, maintain, and repair a 5550-ton Refrigeration Plant and a 56,000,000 BTU Heat Plant. Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC/R systems, installing and maintaining large commercial/industrial ventilation, AC and cooling towers, and heating systems.

The role also covers essential electrical work, preventive maintenance, and servicing complex equipment.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoots HVAC/R systems with complex problems and repairs, requiring judgment to locate malfunctions.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains large commercial/industrial ventilation, air conditioning, cooling towers and systems.
• Installs, overhauls, repairs heating systems and boilers and related controls.
• Electrical work incidental to HVAC/R maintenance and operation.
• Performs preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems and equipment.

Responsibilities
