Job summary
Crawford Mechanical Services, part of Quantum Industrial, is hiring Senior HVAC/R Technicians for commercial and industrial projects across data centers and manufacturing facilities. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize complex HVAC/R systems, including chillers, boilers, RTUs, and refrigeration equipment.
We value problem-solvers who own their work, mentor others, and can perform under on-call rotations.
Qualifications
- EPA 608 Certification is required.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and controls.
- Willingness to be on-call.
- Senior-level candidates: 5+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC/R experience; experience with complex systems.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Working on equipment such as RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, refrigeration, etc.
- Performing preventative maintenance and system inspections.
- Handling installs, startups, and system commissioning.
- Communicating clearly with customers on issues, repairs, and recommendations.
- Documenting work accurately (notes, photos, parts, quotes).
- Participating in an on-call rotation.
- Representing the company professionally on every job.
- Handle complex diagnostics independently.
- Work on large/critical systems in industrial environments.
- Mentor and support less experienced technicians.
