Job summary

Crawford Mechanical Services in Gilbert, AZ is seeking Commercial HVAC/R Service Technicians at all levels. You’ll diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems (RTUs, chillers, boilers), perform preventative maintenance, and support on-call rotations. Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Comfort working independently in the field.
• Willingness to be part of an on‑call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC/R systems.
• Working on equipment such as RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, refrigeration.
• Performing preventative maintenance and system inspections.
• Handling installs, startups, and system commissioning.
• Communicating clearly with customers on issues, repairs, and recommendations.
• Documenting work accurately (notes, photos, parts, quotes).
• Participating in an on‑call rotation.
• Representing the company professionally on every job.
• Senior-level candidates: handle complex diagnostics independently; work on large/critical systems; mentor less experienced technicians.
