Job summary

CoolSys, based in Morgantown, WV, is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to repair and overhaul refrigeration, HVAC, and related equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and assist with startups while maintaining accurate service records.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, EPA certification, 3–5 years of commercial HVAC experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• EPA refrigerant certification is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on schedule.
• Repair and overhaul refrigeration and HVAC equipment incl. compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices.
• Test systems and components for proper operation.
• Maintain legible records of work history and service actions.
• Provide preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Assist with startups of new installations and minor construction/remodeling.
