Job summary

Easy Ice is seeking a Technician II to join our on-site service team in Tampa, FL. You will diagnose, install, repair, and maintain commercial ice machines, ensuring peak performance and reliability for our customers.

A strong focus on customer service and safety is essential as you work in a dynamic field environment. The role requires 1+ year of experience with commercial equipment and EPA 2 Certification, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to train junior techs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in the diagnosis and repair of commercial equipment.
• EPA 2 Certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, or HVAC systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service and support for ice machines, diagnosing and repairing issues.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment while ensuring high quality and safety.
• Train and mentor less experienced technicians.
• Maintain truck stock and company vehicles.
• Document service activities with photos, forms, and detailed reports.
• Ensure timely completion of work orders per SOP.
