Job Description

REPORTING STRUCTURE: The HVAC-R Instructor reports to the Building Principal.

JOB DESCRIPTION: This individual is accountable for teaching and supervising students in the HVAC Chapter 74 Career Vocational Technical Education (CVTE) state frameworks and curriculum disciplines.

Principal Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of departmental curriculum objectives and competencies.
• The planning, developing, and integration of the department's curriculum where appropriate.
• Planning with the HVAC-R program staff to implement changes in the curriculum and/or new program developments.
• Providing input in faculty/team performance evaluation of students at the end of each marking period for grading purposes.
• Responsible for assuring equal educational opportunity to all individuals regardless of race, color, gender, age, marital status, religion, gender identity, national origin, sexual orientation, homelessness, or disability.
• Performance of other job-related duties as assigned.
