CoolSys is hiring an Apprentice (HVAC or Refrigeration) to support installation teams in Knoxville, TN. You will assist with equipment installation, piping, and safety compliance under the supervision of senior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or trade program completion.
• 1+ years HVAC/refrigeration or related industry experience preferred.
• Ability to operate scissor lift or forklift preferred.
• Knowledge of job-site safety and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment per project requirements under direction of a senior technician.
• Perform work safely with power and hand tools and PPE.
• Escalate safety/quality issues to senior technicians or project managers.
• Maintain clean and professional job sites and properly store materials.
• Assist senior technicians on a job and follow instructions.
• Install piping (PVC, copper brazing) as required.
