Job summary

Smart Family of Cooling Products in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Chiller Service Technician to perform routine maintenance, inspect and troubleshoot chillers, and repair or replace components to keep systems online and efficient.

This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial refrigeration equipment, including refrigerants, instrumentation, motors, VFDs, and controllers, while following safety standards. Overtime up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of chiller systems.

• Experience with refrigerants, instrumentation and controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance to keep chiller systems running reliably and efficiently.
• Inspect and troubleshoot existing equipment to pinpoint performance issues and faults.
• Repair or replace failed parts to return systems to service.
• Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration systems including refrigerants, instrumentation, control valves, motors, VFDs, soft-starters, pumps, exchangers, filters, and controllers.
• Uphold safety standards on every job.
• Overtime up to 15% may be required as directed by client/management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
