Job summary
Trane Technologies is seeking a LCU/R Quoting Specialist to support Trane Supply’s sales and customer service operations by delivering accurate quotes for Light Commercial Unit and Residential HVAC equipment. You will collaborate with branch teams, account managers, and product support to meet pricing policies and customer requirements.
Responsibilities include reviewing RFQs, selecting products, validating pricing and lead times, and ensuring quotes follow standards while delivering timely,
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in HVAC or technical quoting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, CRM, and MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and deliver quotes for LCU/R HVAC equipment.
- Review RFQs and customer requirements for product selection and pricing.
- Use Trane Supply systems and CRM tools to support quoting.
- Validate pricing, configurations, availability, lead times, and warranties.
- Ensure quotes follow policies and standards.
- Collaborate with branches and account teams to resolve inquiries.
- Interpret HVAC specs and drawings to ensure accuracy.
- Track workload and meet quote turnaround times.
- Contribute to tool/process improvements in quoting.
- Provide product knowledge to internal teams.
