Thayer LLC seeks mechanically skilled Project Sales Representatives to support commercial HVAC/R and building services projects across New England. This role blends sales, project management, customer service, and technical problem-solving.

Thayer, LLC offers salary in the range of $90-$110K with incentive potential, plus comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurances and an HSA. A 120-hour PTO plan, 401(k), and other perks are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of trade experience; HVAC tech, mechanical engineering or design.
• 5 years of hands-on construction project management.
• Experience qualifying prospects and delivering sales presentations.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships across markets and conduct site visits to assess needs.
• Develop scopes of work, estimates, and proposals and present solutions.
• Manage projects from start to finish: scheduling, budgeting, materials, vendors, and site oversight.
• Survey mechanical systems, identify problems, and propose timely solutions.
• Identify prospects in assigned market; follow up on leads and referrals.
• Maintain an active backlog of quotes to hit booking goals.

Thayer LLC is seeking mechanically skilled Project Sales Representatives to support our commercial HVAC/R and building services projects across New England. This role combines sales, project management, customer service, and technical problem-solving.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant trade experience, licensed HVAC technician, mechanical engineering and/or design work experience.
• 5 years of hands-on construction project management overseeing trade-specific work.
• Experience qualifying prospects and conducting effective sales presentations.
• Ability to report to office in Auburn, Maine daily.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
• OSHA certification, EPA license, or Maine/NH gas, oil, or plumbing licenses preferred.
