Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Working Foreman with deep HVAC chiller and mechanical services expertise to lead a dynamic field team on industrial projects in Hoover, AL.

You will manage customer interactions, prepare and quote work, and ensure safety and schedule adherence while leveraging a union-based pay structure under the CBA. Strong communication and project leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years in industrial HVAC chiller, plumbing, pipefitting or mechanical equipment service.
• Mechanical Journeyman License required.
• Valid driver's license and licenses to work with refrigerants, boiler and steam operational & service knowledge.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team of technicians and coordinate field work.
• Interact with customers and quote jobs; ensure accurate quotes.
• Schedule technician hours and promote safety on site.

What you will do

Working Foreman must be a skilled craftsman in their trade and have a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the industrial HVAC chiller, plumbing, pipefitting and /or mechanical equipment service industry.

How you will do it

A self-starter who must be able to lead a project team of technicians. Interaction with customers, attention to detail in quoting jobs, scheduling technician hours, promoting safety and constant communication plays a key role in this position. Must be computer literate with necessary ability to develop, close and manage all types of quoted work.

*This is a Bargaining Unit Position.

Pay Range: Starting at $41.00 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided

through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement. The posted salary

range reflects the target compensation for this role. However, we recognize that exceptional
