Johnson Air Products is seeking a Project Manager to lead HVAC projects from order acceptance through delivery, installation coordination, startup, and closeout. You will coordinate between customers, account managers, engineers, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget project success.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with experience in mechanical contracting or related fields. Team collaboration and clear reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC or related field.
• Ability to interpret mechanical plans, specs and submittals.
• Strong organization, prioritization, and detail orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with ownership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM/ERP experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from sales handoff through equipment release, manufacturing, delivery, startup, and closeout.
• Review scope, quotations, POs, plans, specs, schedules, and contract requirements; identify risks.
• Coordinate equipment selections, submittals, approvals, controls, electrical needs, commissioning, warranties.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, contractors, engineers, manufacturers, and internal teams; lead meetings.
• Monitor costs, margins, invoices, billing milestones, and change orders; manage financial exposure.
• Maintain project records; support timely billing and closeout; resolve billing or collection issues.
• Partner with sales and estimating on handoffs, needs, risks, and future opportunities.
