GSM Services, a fourth-generation family-owned company serving the Charlotte area for nearly a century, seeks a dedicated Commercial HVAC Project Manager.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, QA, and cross-functional coordination to deliver commercial HVAC construction projects within a 50-mile radius of Charlotte, NC, with an emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Commercial HVAC Project Management experience.
• Associate Degree in related field (preferred).
• Proficient in scheduling software and CAD.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle commercial HVAC construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, manpower planning, and project KPIs.
• Review drawings, specifications, and field measurements to ensure accuracy and contract compliance.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, field teams, and customers to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor project progress and report status to Senior Project Manager.
• Ensure Quality Assurance standards are met on all projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience Required: 4+ Years

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of commercial HVAC construction projects. This role is responsible for managing budgets, schedules, quality standards, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with customer expectations.

What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle commercial HVAC construction projects from planning through closeout
• Oversee budgets, schedules, manpower planning, and project KPIs

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with safe driving record
• 4+ years of Commercial HVAC Project Management experience
• Associate Degree in related field (preferred)
• Proficient in scheduling software and CAD
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Experience developing HVAC/mechanical designs and specifications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
• Work outside in various weather conditions for extended periods
• Walk, stand, stoop, or sit for prolonged periods
