Allegiance Group is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead multiple projects in New York City. The role covers pre-construction through closeout, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality and safety compliance.

Collaboration with owners, general contractors, engineers, and vendors is essential. You will oversee procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and field coordination, while supporting pre- and post-construction tasks and building strong client

Formación

• 5+ yearsHVAC or mechanical construction experience.
• PM, Senior PM or similar role experience.
• Read/interpret mechanical plans, specs, drawings, contracts.
• Knowledge scheduling, budgeting, procurement, change orders.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization.
• Experience with general contractors and owners.

Responsabilidades

Allegiance Group is partnering with a well-established mechanical contractor to recruit an experienced HVAC Project Manager for their growing team.

Our client delivers commercial and high- rise residential mechanical and HVAC projects throughout New York City’s five boroughs

This role is suited to an experienced HVAC professional ready to lead projects from pre-construction through closeout. You’ll oversee several projects at a time, keeping work on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the required quality and safety standards.

You’ll collaborate throughout each project with owners, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, superintendents, foremen, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HVAC and mechanical projects from contract award through completion.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, and delivery.
• Review plans, specifications, drawings, contracts, and scope requirements.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project records.
• Arrange material procurement and equipment deliveries.
• Track costs and address potential issues early.
• Attend project meetings and share progress updates with stakeholders.
• Coordinate field operations with superintendents and foremen.
• Ensure work meets contract, quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
• Support estimating, proposals, project turnover, and other pre- and post-construction tasks as needed.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and project partners.

Requirements:

• At least five years of experience in HVAC or mechanical construction.
• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems and construction practices.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, specifications, drawings, and contracts.
• Knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and change order management.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Experience working directly with general contractors and owners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; project management software experience is a plus.
