Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Project Manager for a mission-critical HVAC/MEP project in La Porte, IN. You will manage full lifecycle onsite, coordinate with field teams, and ensure reliability and uptime.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years PM experience in HVAC/MEP construction, strong cost accounting knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office and Autodesk Build or Spectrum ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years PM experience in HVAC/MEP construction; mission-critical/large-scale projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of job cost accounting and project financials.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiar with Autodesk Build or Spectrum ERP.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle onsite from planning through closeout with focus on mission-critical standards.
• Coordinate daily with field superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Monitor schedules, costs, manpower, and equipment to meet deadlines and financial objectives.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, POs, COs, and progress billings.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotations for best value.

Job Title: Project Manager

Salary Rate: $120,000 - $150,000

We are working with a national MEP contractor who needs a mission-critical project manager in La Porte. The ideal candidate will have experience with mission-critical mechanical and MEP systems.

What You'll Own

• Manage the full project lifecycle onsite, from planning through closeout, with a focus on mission-critical standards, reliability, and uptime requirements.
• Coordinate daily with field superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless execution of work.
• Monitor and track project schedules, costs, manpower, and equipment to meet project deadlines and financial objectives.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and progress billings.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotations to ensure scope alignment and best value.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in HVAC/MEP construction, with at least 2 years supporting mission-critical or large-scale commercial projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction logistics, job cost accounting, and project financials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) and familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Autodesk Build, Spectrum ERP, or equivalent).
