Job summary

Carolina Chillers, LLC is seeking a Project Technician to uphold quality standards and drive technical improvement on HVAC projects. You will plan proactively, coordinate labor, and oversee startup, warranty, and field execution to keep projects on track.

This on-site role requires leadership, OSHA 10, EPA refrigeration certification, and strong communication. Daily responsibilities include front-end project involvement, ensuring proper installation practices, documenting quality, and reporting

Qualifications

Six or more years of combined practical and academic experience in the full range of HVAC sub-fields.
Technical competencies with all aspects of HVAC equipment and installation.
OSHA 10 safety certification.
EPA refrigeration certification. Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Be involved on the front end of projects to understand existing system applications, control integrations, and equipment components.
Oversee quality control and best practices on job sites; organize reporting and address quality concerns.
Complete startup paperwork and warranty registration for equipment startups.
Schedule return visits for systems checks after project completion and handle warranty items.
Direct customer communications and provide updates onsite to management.
