Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks a Product Development Systems Engineer to design and integrate components for Trane Commercial Scroll & Screw Heat Pumps and Chiller products. You will develop new products, validate designs, and collaborate with multiple engineering groups to ensure reliability.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 2+ years of engineering experience, with a focus on HVAC tech, design processes, and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC technologies.
• Ability to lead and communicate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop products for HVAC chiller applications and expand offerings.
• Support new technology and product development to improve performance and cost.
• Improve tools and processes for designing components in our HVAC product lines.
• Perform engineering analysis to verify design, performance and reliability.
• Plan laboratory tests and coordinate with suppliers for component designs.
• Lead ad hoc teams on short-duration projects across functions.
