HVAC Preventative Maintenance Lead Coil Cleaning Service Technician (Seasonal)

Filter Service Inc. (FSI) is a leading Master Distributor of filtration-related products, catering to a diverse range of industries, including HVAC, Dust and Liquid, Paint Booth, Compressed Air, and Oil/Gas Filtration. In addition to our extensive product offerings, FSI is known for its exceptional Commercial and Industrial Air Filter Change-Out Services, with a remarkable track record of changing over 2200 filters per day at more than 4000 accounts. Our clients include both large and small industrial facilities, commercial establishments, contractors, chain accounts, hospitals, and public buildings.

We're hiring a full-time HVAC Preventative Maintenance Lead Coil Cleaning Service Technician to join our expanding service department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Service Technician, you will travel to commercial and industrial facilities around the Chicagoland area in a company vehicle. You will perform air filter change-outs and use company-provided equipment to clean heating and air conditioning units (condenser/evaporator coils), commonly located on the roof of the building. We generally work weekdays, with overtime and weekends available.

We’re looking for someone who can come in with experience in coil cleaning, cottonwood screen installation, and lead and train a team. Must have experience leading a team and with HVAC experience.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older to be considered
• Hold a valid State Driver’s License with no major driving violations
• Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Clean criminal background
• MUST be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds on a daily basis
• Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.
• 99% of our daily duties are performed outdoors; must be comfortable and willing to work in all types of weather conditions e.g., hot days, rain, wind, etc.
• Experience working with pressure washing equipment is a plus (will train)
• Experience hauling 10' x 15' utility trailers is a plus (will train)
• Experience driving a 16ft-20ft box truck is a plus (will train)

Job Type: Full-time Seasonal Work (March - October) with option to move Full Time

Pay: $20.00 to $23.00
