Job summary

ENFRA in Louisiana is seeking a Pre-Commissioning Technician II to support startup and repair of systems under supervision while developing independent, advanced technician skills. You will help troubleshoot, assist senior technicians, and participate in system flushing, TAB, PRV settings, and turnover preparations.

This role requires hands-on mechanical work and strong safety practices in a dynamic energy environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' field experience in related systems.
• EPA 608, OSHA 30 and NFPA 70 certifications are required.
• Willingness to develop safety habits, troubleshooting, and time-management skills through mentorship and on-the-job activity.

Responsibilities

• Start up less complex equipment and assist higher level technicians with complex systems, collecting model, serial, belt and filter data.
• Assist senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairing problems.
• Support operations with system flushing, TAB, PRV settings, belt maintenance, and bearing/motor lubrication before turnover.
• Review submittal documents to verify equipment matches voltage, amps, HP, etc.
