Job summary

Automated Mechanical in Utah is hiring experienced HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technicians for our commercial and industrial clients. This full-time field role focuses on maintaining HVAC systems across diverse building types to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of HVAC maintenance experience, a solid understanding of HVAC systems, and the ability to read blueprints and technical docs. EPA 608 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC training or certification preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in an HVAC Maintenance role.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communicator with solid customer service instincts.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep systems running efficiently and extend equipment life.
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across a range of HVAC platforms.
• Read and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.
• Keep clients and team members informed on service findings and recommended next steps.
• Maintain thorough service records covering work completed, parts used, and system conditions.
• Perform all work in compliance with safety standards, applicable codes, and company policy.
