Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an Engineer for our HVAC/Plumbing/Fire Protection group in New York City, White Plains, or Hicksville. The role involves designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for municipal, commercial, and industrial facilities, collaborating with senior engineers.

Qualified candidates bring a Mechanical Engineering degree, design experience in HVAC and related systems, and preferably a PE license or progress toward one; Revit experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 2–25 years of experience in designing HVAC, plumbing, and/or fire protection systems.
• PE license preferred or in progress.
• Experience with Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Focus on municipal water and wastewater projects, including planning, preliminary and final designs, and engineering services in construction.
