Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Estimator in Gardena to assist in pursuing large and complex HVAC and Plumbing construction projects. You will prepare and submit competitive bids across Aerospace, Education, Entertainment, Hospitals and Transportation markets.

The role requires 3+ years of estimating experience in construction, with preference for HVAC/plumbing estimating and familiarity with digital estimation tools like QuickPen. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $130,000 per year and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience with construction, HVAC, or plumbing estimating.
HVAC and/or plumbing project estimation (preferred).
Familiarity with digital project-estimation platforms (preferred).
QuickPen experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Prepare project estimates and proposals for commercial HVAC and/or Plumbing projects.
Thorough review of project-scope documentation.
Attend scheduled job walks. Ask project-related questions.
Complete material take-offs, collect equipment and subcontractor pricing, prepare estimates.
Communicate with external and internal project partners.
Hit key milestones and submission deadlines. Help win new projects.
