DSG is seeking a Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical Counter Sales Associate in Bozeman, MT. This full-time, hourly role supports customers at the City Desk with order placement and fulfillment, and assists in warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of college or technical school, or 3–5 years field experience in Plumbing, HVAC, & Electrical products.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and outstanding customer service.
• Strong communication skills across in-person, phone, and email.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Active listening to determine customer needs.
• Problem solving, project management, and analytical skills.
• High proficiency with computers; Eclipse or ERP experience preferred.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary facilitator for customer orders at the City Desk.
• Assist customers with product inquiries in a professional manner.
• Write and sometimes fill orders accurately and promptly.
• Generate customer quotations and follow up as needed.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support.
• Collaborate with sales team to resolve customer service issues.
• Restock the counter area according to brand and location.
• Monitor inventory andCull damaged products.
• Maintain a clean and appealing counter display.
• Identify and upsell additional products where appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

DSG is seeking aPlumbing, HVAC, & Electrical Counter Sales Associate in ourBozeman, MTlocation. In this full time, hourly position, work is typically performed between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm , Monday through Friday, but may vary on occasion according to business needs. As a Counter Sales Associate, you will assist customers at the City Desk with order placement and fulfillment, as well as assisting in all aspects of warehouse duties as needed.

A Typical Day in the Life of a Plumbing, HVAC, & Electrical Counter Sales Associate:

• Serve as the primary facilitator for customer orders made at the City Desk
• Assist customers in a professional manner with product inquiries
• Write (and occasionally fill) orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Generate customer quotations and follow up as necessary
• Provide trouble-shooting and technical support
• Work with other sales team members to resolve customer service issues
• Restock the counter area according to product brand and location
• Monitor product inventory and cull damaged product
• Maintain a clean and appealing counter display area
• Identify and encourage the sale of additional products as applicable
• Perform other duties as assigned

A Successful Plumbing, HVAC, & Electrical Counter Sales Associate Typically Has:

• Product and technical knowledge normally acquired in two or more years of college or technical school OR 3-5 years field experience in the residential/commercial applications of Plumbing, HVAC, & Electrical products.
• Excellent relationship building skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal, customer service and communication skills across a variety of settings (in-person, phone, and email).
• Strong attention to detail, paired with the ability to multi-task.
• A knack for active listening to determine customer needs.
• Superior problem solving, project management, and analytical skills.
• A high proficiency with computers – experience in Eclipse or other ERP systems preferred.
• The ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively.
